Evidence · Results from 100 programs out of 10,000+ launched

100 programs. One way to measure.

We looked back at 100 programs run with 39 organisations between 2016 and 2026. Here is what the data says, measured the same way every time. How we measure

What we learned

Four lessons from 100 programs.

43%

Of all gaps found were verified closed.

Not assumed, not self-reported. A gap counts as closed only when the same person gets the same question right later. Across programs the range runs from 18% to 80%.

55%

Closure when the program is tied to a business moment.

The 16 programs tied to a launch, kickoff, certification, congress or cycle meeting closed 55% of their gaps, against 41% for the other 84. It is an observed association, not proof that the deadline caused it.

1 in 5

Some gaps need a closer look.

In one in five of the example questions we tracked, fewer than 20% of the people who were wrong corrected it. Some had no retest; the rest persisted after reinforcement and point to where coaching is needed.

11 pts

Same kickoff, 47% to 58% closure.

In a multi-franchise kickoff, four teams closed 47 to 58% of their gaps. What differed was how many gaps each team started with, which is exactly what the data is for.

Each channel got its own challenge, then nine weeks of reinforcement on what stayed open. The gaps that remain became the brief for next year.

Global pharma · kickoff certification

Four franchise teams, same molecule, six days.

Four simultaneous games aligned four teams on disease, trial data and competitor arguments within the kickoff week.

5brand cycles

Each cycle paired content with a competition. Closure varied across the brand cycles. Review the results by cycle to identify where more reinforcement is needed.

Programs are anonymised. Figures come from Atrivity platform records for each program; a gap is one person wrong at first attempt, closed only when that person answers it right later.
