Privacy Policy.

1. Who is responsible for your data

APE SOFTWARE COMPONENTS, S.L. (Compettia and Atrivity)
Tax ID (NIF): B60516291
Av. Alcalde Barnils, 72, 1-A, 08174 Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona), Spain

Data protection contact: privacy@compettia.com

This policy covers the personal data collected through this website. The data of the users of the Atrivity platform that we process for our clients is governed by the agreement and the data processing terms signed with each client.

2. What data we collect

Forms. When you request a demo, a resource or contact through the website, we collect the data you enter: first name, last name, work email, company, country and, if you choose to give them, your role and your message. We also record which page and which type of request the form was sent from.

Browsing. Our hosting provider records technical data needed to deliver the website and keep it secure, such as IP address, browser, pages requested and time of access. We do not use these data to identify you or to build profiles.

3. Why we process them and on what basis

We process your data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on data protection and digital rights (LOPDGDD).

To answer your request, prepare the demo or send you what you asked for, and to follow up on it. The legal basis is your request (steps prior to a possible contract) and our legitimate interest in answering the professionals who contact us.

To send you information about our products, when you have asked for it (for example, by requesting a resource or a newsletter) or where the law allows it. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email we send you or by writing to us.

To operate and protect the website, on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure and working website.

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. How long we keep them

We keep form data for as long as needed to handle your request and any business relationship that follows, and afterwards, blocked, for the periods required by law. Technical browsing records are kept for security purposes for no longer than 12 months.

5. Who we share them with

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. We use service providers that process data on our behalf and under contract: website hosting and form handling (Netlify), our CRM (Pipedrive) and internal notification of new requests (Slack). If you choose to play an embedded podcast episode, SoundCloud receives your IP address and applies its own privacy policy. We may also disclose data when required by law.

6. International transfers

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Your rights

You can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and object to processing, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Write to privacy@compettia.com. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

8. Accuracy and third-party data

Please make sure the data you send are accurate. If you send us data about another person, you confirm that you are entitled to do so.

9. Minors

This website is aimed at professionals and companies. It is not directed at people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Cookies

See our Cookie policy.

11. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the website or in the law. The version published here applies.
